When I started looking at what mobile games for my toddler I was overwhelmed. There are so many apps out there that are disguised as educational to then find out that they had ads or everything was a micro transaction. Luckily with the help of my wife who is in education, we were able to find some pretty amazing apps that were not only fun but were also engaging. All of the apps I’ve listed below are apps that we’ve had on our iPad since my kiddo was 2 and we’d download them again in a heartbeat.
Elmo Loves ABC’s
Available on: App Store, Google Play, Microsoft Apps, Amazon Appstore

This was the first iPad game that we downloaded on the iPad for our kiddo and it is a must have for toddlers. It has songs and funny videos about letters. Your kiddo can color pages, as well as has games about letters. It is perfect for kids learning their alphabet and the songs are from older Sesame Street shows so it will totally trigger your nostalgic memories.

Baby Games – Balloon Pop

The game is as simple as it sounds. Everyone likes balloons, but popping them is even more fun! Balloon Pop is a simple game suitable for all ages and can really help your child’s hand eye coordination. This game is great for when you need a quick distraction to get something done or your kiddo just loves popping balloons!

Lego Duplo World
Available on: App Store, Apple Arcade, Google Play, Amazon Appstore, Galaxy Store, App Gallery

Lego Duplo World is a game where learning and play go hand in hand so your child can create imagine and explore. The app includes all of the different zones and the holiday activities. I cannot tell you all of the times that my kiddo has built something or sprayed water on one of the Duplo characters that has made her laugh out loud and ran over to show me. This is the perfect game for Imagination and creativity as well as learning simple math and fine motor skills.
