As my kiddo has gotten older I’ve become more worried about the content that she is absorbing, especially when it comes to mobile apps. Mobile apps are usually full of ads or in app purchases that I don’t want to have to worry about. I wanted games that were both fun and educational, without any of that extra stuff. Luckily, developers like PBS Games, StoryToys Limited, and Duolingo have done just that. They have created games that make my child laugh and run over to me and spout off some random piece of knowledge. I will always recommend these 3 mobile games for any young child.
PBS Kids Games App

I can’t enough good things about this app. Not only is this app is super educational with over 250 games on it from PBS shows like Daniel Tiger, Wild Kratts, and Odd Squad, but it is totally free! Your kiddo will never run out of games to play and they are constantly adding new games weekly. I have found my child playing this game the most and it is super educational! They will be playing one of the PBS Kids Games and then come to me with a fact about something and I’ll ask where they learned it and they’ll say it was from such and such game. The app also allows your child to lean in English and in Spanish from shows like Alma, Rosie, and more.
